Requirements for the doctorate degree (ST.D.)

Program Description: third cycle

For those students who have obtained the Licentiate from the Institute of the History of Theology, two courses and a seminar are required. Students who have obtained a Licentiate degree elsewhere may be admitted to the doctoral cycle under the same conditions only if the Licentiate obtained is consistent with the specialization.  If continuity between cycles is partially missing, it is up to the Dean’s Council, after consultation with the Coordinator, to determine the plan of studies to be followed. The outline to be presented for the approval of the Dean’s Council must follow the guidelines established by the Faculty. Its development takes place under the guidance of the moderator and with the methodological help of the doctoral seminar.
