Floral art at the service of the liturgy
Like music, singing, light, speech, gesture, perfume, dance, the beauty of linen and silk, architecture and painting, flowers are a language capable of introducing the experience of God and to proclaim the Mystery. They are present in the liturgy for a humble service: preparing the environment where God meets his people, his bride, a “nuptial” meeting, of “covenant”, which must be marked by the sober and elegant beauty, by the party and by the gratuity.
The course is addressed to sacristans, custodians of churches and chapels and to all those, men and women, who, generously, wish to begin to place themselves at the service of the liturgy through the floral art, but also to those who, being already engaged in this activity, want to deepen their technical and liturgical knowledge.
Classes will be held on Friday from 15:00 to 18:30.
Any further information is contained in the General Guide, which can be downloaded from the website www.anselmianum.com
